Responsibilities

• Build, lead, mentor, and manage a dedicated offshore Tax Technology development team.
• Translate tax business processes into functional and technical requirements for development.
• Establish and prioritize the Tax Technology development roadmap and backlog.
• Lead the design and delivery of integrations, automation, AI-enabled capabilities, and internally developed applications.
• Partner with Tax Leadership to identify strategic technology opportunities and define solution approaches.
• Provide functional direction to developers and ensure delivered solutions align with business objectives, compliance requirements, and user expectations.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Technology and third-party vendors when architectural support or integrations are required.
• Establish development standards, documentation, testing, and quality assurance practices.

Qualifications

• CPA with significant public accounting tax experience.
• Experience in Tax Technology, business process improvement, or technology transformation.
• Experience leading software development initiatives and/or offshore development teams.
• Strong understanding of tax workflows, technology platforms, and automation opportunities.
• Demonstrated leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and project delivery skills.
