Manager, Talent Acquisition
About the role
Partner with various service line leaders to provide sourcing and operational recruiting support within A&M’s Private Equity Performance Improvement Services (PEPI) practice. PEPI focuses on serving middle-market and large-cap private equity firms to improve operating results at their portfolio companies. You will work across multiple service lines—including Transformation Services, Commercial Due Diligence, Interim Management, M&A Services, Manufacturing Operations Improvement, Supply Chain, and CFO Services—to source, interview, and present candidates for a variety of positions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct intake calls, set sourcing strategies, and interview and present candidates for a variety of roles.
- Source, interview, and present candidates for specific service lines, developing deep knowledge of specialty areas to pipeline candidates for review.
- Provide operational support, including scheduling interviews and gathering feedback from the interview team.
- Communicate with the Talent Acquisition team, Operations Leaders, Interview Team, and candidates to ensure transparency throughout the recruiting process.
- Assist with market research, job descriptions, and talent insights to help hiring managers understand the recruiting landscape in their functional areas.
- Create innovative sourcing strategies using LinkedIn Recruiter, Jobvite (ATS), and various resume databases.
- Build and maintain pipelines of highly sought-after candidates, nurturing relationships and educating candidates about Alvarez & Marsal.
- Prepare offer letters in collaboration with the People Business Partner team, ensuring alignment with salary bands and internal equity.
- Maintain requisitions and candidate records with meticulous attention to detail, providing reporting and metrics as needed.
Requirements
- 5-10+ years of full life cycle recruiting experience, preferably in a management consulting firm, executive search, or large fast-paced corporate environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Extensive senior-level/experienced hire recruitment experience.
- Strong research and candidate generation skills at the executive level, with the ability to build high-volume, high-quality candidate pipelines under tight timelines.
- Aggressive hunter mentality with the ability to cold call and nurture long-term candidate relationships.
- Advanced Boolean search string skills.
- Demonstrated direct sourcing using personal networks and online resume mining, with minimal reliance on job board postings.
- Ability to work well under pressure without compromising quality.
- Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- LinkedIn Recruiter experience is required; Jobvite experience is a plus.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines.
- Strong business acumen and polished communication skills.
- Comfort working with ambiguity and escalating issues as needed.

Pay
The salary range for this role is $100,000 - $120,000 annually, dependent on education, experience, skills, and geography. Please ask your recruiter for details on the discretionary bonus program.
