Responsibilities
- Acts as direct liaison between Surveillance Room activities and Surveillance leaders and assumes responsibility for the efficient operation of the Surveillance department, in absence of the Director of Surveillance.
- Establishes operational procedures for the Surveillance department to ensure that all Casino Internal Controls and Illinois Gaming Board regulations are strictly adhered to.
- Maintains up to date knowledge of changes in operational procedures, gaming regulations and internal controls to ensure that surveillance coverage is optimal.
- Notifies companies leadership and Illinois Gaming Board agents upon detection of illegal activities.
- Works closely with the Director of Surveillance to ensure that ample coverage is in place for daily and/or special events at the Casino and Resort.
- Provides video footage to assist departments in the detection of fraud, insurance claims, employee investigations, and illegal activity.
- Oversees the management of attendance and time records for the Surveillance department.
- Provides training/re-training to Surveillance department to ensure the highest levels of skill and knowledge.
- Selects, trains, and develops team members through education, training, coaching, and corrective action.
- Reviews all Surveillance Incident Reports.
- Technical ability to operate and work on audio/visual equipment.
- Affords assistance with performance management of Surveillance team (including but not limited to preparing issues of discipline and performance reviews).
- Manages staff to include shift scheduling and maintaining proper staffing levels across all shifts.
- Creates effective and efficient schedules while maintaining labor costs, meeting staffing objectives, and ensuring overall coverage mandated by gaming regulations.
- Reviews surveillance department actions, personnel and processes with Director of Surveillance.
- Recruits, interviews, and assists with selection of employees to fill vacant positions in assigned areas.
- Provides continuous feedback to the Director of Surveillance regarding related issues and makes recommendations for continual improvement.
- Sets and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
- Performs other related duties as may be assigned by the Director of Surveillance.
Pay
Compensation Target Salary: $95,000
