Manager, Subcontracts & Procurement

For our client, we are seeking a Manager, Subcontracts & Procurement to join the team of a leader in the Real Estate & Construction space. This role will oversee subcontract execution and procurement operations, ensuring alignment across cost, schedule, technical, and quality objectives. The position will partner closely with technical teams, project management, and suppliers to keep work moving smoothly and to support strong project outcomes. It is well suited for a hands-on leader who can manage complex contracts, build effective team performance, and improve operational efficiency in a fast-paced environment. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $135,000 – $185,000 annually Responsibilities Drive subcontract execution across cost, schedule, technical, and quality metrics Ensure seamless integration of subcontract work with technical teams and project management Serve as the main contact between subcontractors and project management teams Oversee the procurement cycle by coordinating with technical teams and suppliers Negotiate supplier contracts, focusing on strategic terms and pricing Conduct performance appraisals and mentor the purchasing and subcontracts team Implement improvements to enhance efficiency and meet KPIs Qualifications Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred 15+ years in procurement and subcontract management, including 3-5 years in a managerial role 5-7 years of experience in subcontracts management, including Master Service Agreements negotiation Knowledge of FAR and DFARS regulations is essential Experience managing 25+ supply chain personnel and leading teams effectively Benefits 401K plan with company match Medical, dental, and vision insurance available Life insurance and AD&D coverage provided Flexible spending accounts and disability insurance Paid time off and options for flexible work schedules Professional training and development opportunities for career advancement Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
