About the Role
Overjet is looking for a Manager, Strategic Partnerships to accelerate the growth of our partner channel. This person will source, negotiate, close, and activate strategic partnerships (consulting firms, imaging and PMS vendors, distributors, and other channel partners) that drive new business for Overjet. This role reports to the Head of Partnerships and sits within the GTM organization.
Responsibilities
- Partnership Sourcing & Deal Development
- Identify, prospect, and build relationships with prospective strategic partners (consulting firms, device and PMS manufacturers, distributors)
- Build the business case for each partnership opportunity — tying it to retention, close rate, and revenue impact, for both Overjet and the partner's own leadership
- Structure, negotiate, and close partnership agreements
- Partner Activation & Enablement
- Move signed partnerships from contract to revenue quickly — onboarding, training, and joint go-to-market planning
- Coordinate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Legal to launch and scale each partnership
- Pipeline & Revenue Ownership
- Own partner-sourced pipeline generation and quarterly new-business targets
- Track and report on partnership performance against revenue and activation goals
- Forecast partnership-driven revenue
- Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned strategic partners
- Navigate partner organizations' internal stakeholders and politics; surface real constraints and solutions rather than accepting polite non-answers
- Lead business reviews with partners, including performance insights and next steps
Qualifications
- 5+ years of B2B sales, business development, or channel partnership experience — dental, medical device, or SaaS strongly preferred
- Track record of sourcing, negotiating, and closing partnership or channel agreements
- Experience managing partner relationships with a manufacturer of a medical/dental device or SaaS product
- Strong commercial instincts — able to build and pressure-test a business case quickly
- Highly responsive and action-oriented; doesn't let deals or relationships go cold
- Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust quickly
- Strong personal network within the dental industry strongly preferred
- Driven, highly motivated, self-starter, comfortable operating with ambiguity in a high-growth environment
- Ability and willingness to travel extensively for partner meetings, conferences, and industry events
Benefits
- Competitive Compensation and Equity
- Hybrid workplace that provides flexibility, vibrant in-person workspaces, and the ability to build strong connections across all of Overjet - regardless of location
- 401k plans with a matching program
- Medical, Dental and Vision coverage: 99% employee premium covered, 75% dependent premium covered
- Life and AD+D Insurance
- 8 weeks Paid Parental Leave
- Optional HSA with Employer contribution
- Flexible Time Off and company paid holidays
- Annual Learning and Development Stipend
Schedule
We have a unique hybrid workplace at Overjet — many positions are based in San Mateo, New York City, Boston, and Salt Lake City. The Jetters who live in these “geo-hubs” come to the office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, while having the option to work from home the rest of the week.
