Manager, Sterile Processing (Full-Time, Day Shift)

About the role

Located in a tight-knit community in Kings County, Adventist Health Hanford has been serving the Central Valley since 1965. We are comprised of a 173-bed hospital and many outpatient clinics with primary and specialty care services. Hanford residents are proud of their city's historic charm and family-friendly atmosphere. Responsibilities

• Manages the Sterile Processing Department which provides services for Perioperative Services as well as the entire facility.
• Is responsible for the day-to-day management of the supply procurement, inventory management and patient billing activities for the Perioperative arena.
• Affirms adequate supplies are on hand at all times, as well as other related functions.
• Supervises, assigns and evaluates the activities of Operating Room personnel performing material control and patient billing functions.
• Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned personnel using both professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgment.

Requirements

• Education and Work Experience: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required Master's Degree: Preferred Five years' technical experience: Preferred One year's leadership experience: Preferred
• Licenses/Certifications: Sterile Processing Technician certification: Required

Additional individual compensation may be available for this role through differentials, extra shift incentives, bonuses, etc. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
