Job Functions
- Lead and evolve the Solution Design practice
- Hire, coach, and develop Solution Designers; drive engagement and retention
- Sponsor sales opportunities to ensure on-time, on-budget, and high-quality solutions
- Maintain strong collaboration with Sales Partners and Delivery teams
- Provide targeted support to projects at risk (schedule, budget, or quality)
- Oversee onboarding and ongoing technical training
- Maintain balanced staffing and high team utilization
- Perform required administrative and people-management responsibilities
Travel Requirements
25% overnight travel (Travel expenses paid by Toyota Automated Logistics)
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering (or related degree) with 7+ years of relevant practical business experience. Master’s degree is preferred
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Motivates and unleashes the true potential of Team Members
- Strategic thinking and strong Kaizen drive
- Ability to Challenge Status-quo and drive change across the organization
- Excellent technical problem-solving capability
- Excellent customer relations during complex projects
- Strong capability to hold difficult conversations when needed with employees, Sales Partners, and customers
- Proactive in addressing conflicts. Always stays professional through conflicts
Preferred Skills
- Must be eligible to work in the USA long term without sponsorship
