Manager, Software Engineering (App Experiences)

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a balanced team of engineers, setting clear expectations and providing feedback.
• Own the team's technical strategy and roadmap tied to major experience initiatives.
• Empower tech leads and engineers to uphold design and quality standards during technical design phases.
• Ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of consumer-critical systems through incident response.
• Drive alignment across multiple organizations and influence roadmaps on partner experience teams.
• Foster collaboration with Product, Design, Analytics, and other Engineering teams to build trust and execute cross-functional efforts.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in management roles.
• Proven delivery of consumer-facing software projects and execution through ambiguity.
• Technical judgment to guide architecture, quality, and reliability decisions.
• Experience leading significant technical initiatives end-to-end, such as re-platforming consumer systems.
• Familiarity with modern full-stack development, particularly React or React Native.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.

Pay

$204,000 – $290,000 annually
