Position Overview – Software Engineering Manager

Delinea is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead three engineering teams responsible for the company's core platform services: Inventory, Discovery, and Identity Graph.

• Lead and mentor three Agile software engineering teams.
• Owning the technical roadmap and delivery for Inventory, Discovery, and Identity Graph.
• Guiding the development of cloud-native microservices built with .NET 9, Azure Cosmos DB, and Elasticsearch.
• Driving the design of scalable distributed systems and cloud services.
• Collaborating with Product, Architecture, UX, and Engineering leadership on technical strategy.
• Promoting the use of AI coding assistants, design tools, and automated testing.
• Building a collaborative engineering culture focused on innovation, quality, and career development.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience managing Agile software engineering teams.
• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience, preferably with .NET/C# or similar backend technologies.
• Strong experience designing distributed systems and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience building and operating scalable applications on Azure or AWS.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience launching new teams or products in ambiguous environments.
• Hands-on experience using AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Azure Cosmos DB and Elasticsearch.
• Background in identity management, cybersecurity, or Privileged Access Management (PAM).
• Knowledge of graph databases or relationship-based data models.
• Experience scaling SaaS or enterprise software engineering organizations.
• Experience establishing AI-first engineering practices and measuring their impact.
