For our client, we are seeking a Manager, Small Business Advisory to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will oversee client advisory engagements with a focus on complex tax matters, relationship management, and high-quality service delivery. The manager will partner with internal professionals to coordinate multiple projects, mentor staff, and help expand the client base through trusted advisory support. This position also requires sound judgment, strong technical tax expertise, and the ability to balance compliance, deadlines, and client needs in a collaborative environment. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $100,000 – $120,000 annually Responsibilities Develop and manage client relationships while collaborating with internal professional teams Coordinate concurrent tax projects, address accounting matters, and mentor team members Contribute to client base growth by identifying new business opportunities Review client tax returns accurately and manage audits with governmental agencies Analyze complex tax returns across various entity types while maintaining client-facing communication Make strategic decisions for tax projects to ensure quality delivery and compliance Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field CPA or equivalent certification preferred 6–8 years of recent tax experience in public accounting, with manager-level capabilities Strong working knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations Experience handling complex tax return work across multiple entity types Ability to manage multiple tax projects and teams while training staff Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to prioritize effectively under deadlines Commitment to excellence, client service, and professional growth Benefits Flexible hybrid work model supporting work-life balance Collaborative and supportive high-performance work environment Standard hours are 8:30 am to 5:30 pm outside of the busy season Opportunity for professional growth and skill development Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
