About the role
As a Service Manager at Sammons Industrial, you'll lead the day-to-day operations of the Service Department, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, maintaining a strong safety culture, developing team members, and driving profitable growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the Service Department, including financial performance, customer service, safety, training, and process improvement.
- Coach, develop, and support service team members while fostering accountability, quality workmanship, and operational efficiency.
- Build strong customer relationships through regular communication, problem resolution, and proactive support of key service accounts.
- Manage departmental resources, fleet vehicles, vendor relationships, equipment, tooling, and facility needs while maintaining budget goals.
Requirements
- Leadership experience with a passion for coaching, developing, and motivating teams.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to manage performance, priorities, and customer expectations.
- Mechanical aptitude and service industry experience, preferably in forklift repair, equipment rental, or a related field.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer relationship skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
