This role will lead operational priorities where safety, quality, compliance, and execution discipline are central to success. You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a regulated financial services environment.

Responsibilities
- Hire and develop a high-performing team of security engineers
- Oversee security for corporate systems including vulnerability and patch management
- Lead incident response as the senior Incident Commander
- Optimize detection and response mechanisms using our CrowdStrike platform
- Build detection coverage across various security signals and logs
- Collaborate on security controls to mitigate external threats
- Set quality standards for detection and reporting on these metrics
- Conduct enterprise-wide cybersecurity risk assessments and manage the development of AI security tools
Qualifications
- 7+ years in detection engineering, security operations, or incident response with leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) and high-signal detection design
- Hands-on experience with EDR/SIEM platforms and detection-as-code methodologies
- Incident command experience covering triage and stakeholder management under pressure
- Proven expertise in securing SaaS environments and endpoint management like access governance and patching
- Excellent communication skills to articulate risk and priorities to technical and executive teams
- Experience in cloud monitoring and identity threat detection, particularly with AWS
Pay
$172,000 – $237,000 annually
