Responsibilities
- Lead execution of operating priorities, governance expectations, and measurable performance standards across assigned scope.
- Translate business and security expectations into clear operating rhythms, reporting discipline, and site-level accountability.
- Oversee performance, coordination, and day-to-day priorities across both operational and technical security resources within assigned scope.
- Oversee local or regional performance metrics, staffing considerations, and operating trends to improve delivery quality and continuity.
- Support budget tracking, resource planning, vendor spend visibility, and local operating tradeoffs in support of continuity and cost discipline.
- Implement new procedures, local process improvements, and operating initiatives that strengthen consistency and measurable performance.
- Support change management activities tied to site transitions, support model changes, security upgrades, system enhancements, or new operating requirements.
- Oversee vendor, guard force, and site-based service performance to ensure delivery aligns with service expectations, contract requirements, and operating needs.
- Oversee vendor-supported security and technical work, including projects, retrofits, repairs, upgrades, preventive maintenance, and local system-related activities, to ensure alignment with readiness, timelines, and delivery expectations.
- Support customer trust through reliable delivery, responsive communication, and disciplined handling of customer-sensitive issues and escalations.
- Address operational risks, recurring issues, system-related concerns, and readiness gaps through timely coordination, escalation, and corrective follow-up.
- Lead recurring risk reviews, audit support activities, and control verification efforts to identify issues and strengthen operational discipline.
- Reinforce emergency preparedness, response procedures, and business continuity readiness across assigned teams and environments.
- Lead frontline leaders, team members, and support resources to strengthen accountability, delivery quality, and day-to-day performance.
- Set clear expectations for performance, professionalism, escalation discipline, and standardized delivery.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching and development feedback, and support employee growth, accountability, and readiness.
- Build team capability across both operational and technical security disciplines while reinforcing a culture of disciplined execution, resilience, and customer-focused delivery.
Qualifications
- 6–8 years of experience in security operations, physical security systems, technical security support, field operations, facilities support, critical environments, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in frontline leadership, site supervision, operational coordination, vendor oversight, or similar formal or informal leadership roles.
- Strong knowledge of security operations, physical security systems, site execution, incident response, and customer-sensitive delivery across critical environments.
- Ability to lead security operations across assigned scope with accountability for operational readiness, execution quality, and disciplined delivery.
- Ability to lead both operational and technical security professionals, while overseeing vendor performance, site-based operating models, and day-to-day continuity.
- Strong communication, prioritization, and problem-solving skills in support of customer trust, operational resilience, and measurable performance.
- Working knowledge of physical security operations, access control, video surveillance, alarm systems, and related security technologies, along with vendor-supported service delivery and operational controls sufficient to oversee quality and support issue resolution.
- Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Business, Emergency Management, Risk Management, Electronics, Facilities, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, including military, law enforcement, or comparable operational leadership experience.
- Relevant certifications such as CPP, PSP, PMP, emergency management, project coordination, or related operational/security certifications are a plus but not required.
