Manager, SEC Reporting

For our client, we are seeking a Manager, SEC Reporting to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will own key pieces of the public-company reporting cycle, with a focus on accurate, timely filings and high-quality external disclosures. You will partner closely with accounting, finance, legal, audit, and other stakeholders to manage deadlines, resolve reporting issues, and strengthen controls and process discipline. The position also offers the opportunity to improve reporting workflows, support board and audit committee materials, and help mentor junior team members in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $166,345 – $195,700 annually Responsibilities Own major portions of the 10-Q/10-K/8-K production cycle, including calendar management and final filing support. Lead complex disclosure areas and translate changes into clear external reporting. Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve issues and ensure timely, accurate filings. Drive improvements to SEC reporting processes and documentation. Support audit requests and prepare materials for quarterly board and audit committee meetings. Mentor junior team members through process discipline and best practices. Qualifications 9+ years of experience in SEC reporting or public-company financial reporting, with hands-on ownership of 10-Q/10-K processes. CPA or equivalent certification required. Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SEC disclosure requirements, and SOX controls. Proven ability to manage complex disclosures and coordinate with auditors under tight deadlines. Experience with Workiva, NetSuite, and spreadsheet-based analytical review in a controlled environment. Excellent written judgment, project management, and communication skills.
