Manager, SAP Supply Chain – Production Planning

About the role

This position involves leading SAP supply chain and manufacturing workstreams throughout all project phases, ensuring high-quality delivery of solutions for production planning, manufacturing execution, scheduling, and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Manage SAP manufacturing and supply chain projects, including design, build, testing, and deployment.
• Support business development activities such as proposal development, system demonstrations, and pre-sales efforts for SAP S/4HANA implementations.
• Act as a functional lead and architect for SAP production planning (PP), ensuring integration with supply chain and warehouse systems.
• Assist in practice administration by managing budgets, resource planning, and mentoring staff.
• Contribute to thought leadership, training materials, and new service offerings, especially around modern manufacturing and AI integration.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum five years of SAP advisory consulting experience with a focus on supply chain, manufacturing, and production planning across various industries.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Proven expertise in leading workshops, managing client relationships, and coordinating teams using SAP Activate or agile methodologies.
• Deep hands-on experience with SAP PP modules, including discrete and process manufacturing, MRP, capacity planning, and detailed scheduling.
• Knowledge of inventory management, integration with warehouse and manufacturing execution systems, and use of digital technologies like AI and predictive analytics.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills to clearly convey technical concepts to stakeholders.
• Ability to travel as needed and authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
