Responsibilities
- Manages the day-to-day activities of the sales administration team so that the organization’s sales force is effectively supported, and all sales transactions are processed efficiently, accurately and economically.
- Plans, prioritizes, and schedule the team’s activities so that resources are used effectively and that work schedules and targets are met.
- Establishes sales support processes and support activities to ensure the most efficient sales processes.
- Reviews incoming proposal (new/growth RFPs/RFIs and proactive quotes) for strategic and capabilities match and prepares contracts for approval and delivery.
- Maintains positive customer relations by overseeing the most complex, large or difficult sales orders and contracts.
- Leads, directs, evaluates and develops sales administration staff so that activities are completed accurately and on time.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably in business or electrical, mechanical, or quality engineering.
- Master’s Degree highly preferred.
- 8 or more years of experience in selling or related field, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
