Manager, Risk Management

About the Role

For our client, we are seeking a Manager, Risk Management to join the team of a leader in the Real Estate & Construction space. This role will oversee key corporate risk and insurance activities that support project execution and enterprise risk oversight across a complex, global environment. You will partner with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to strengthen risk practices, improve policy and procedure discipline, and support informed decision-making. The position also plays an important role in contract review, claims coordination, and insurance program management.

Responsibilities

• Review risk-related provisions in contracts, including insurance requirements and indemnities
• Manage the placement of specific insurance programs and corporate insurance procurement
• Assist in recovering insured claims and coordinate information flow with stakeholders
• Initiate improvements in risk management policies and procedures alongside senior management
• Provide internal training on risk management functions to business units
• Support the presentation of underwriting information to insurers
• Coordinate corporate risk assessment and reporting tasks for enterprise risk management

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in risk management or insurance at a global organization
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or Insurance/Risk Management preferred
• Experience with international master and project-specific insurance programs
• Strong communication skills across organizational boundaries
• Self-motivated and innovative in process improvement
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Comfortable leading discussions with senior management

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $124,000 – $186,000 annually
