Manager, Revenue Cycle

About the role

The Manager, Revenue Cycle is responsible for overseeing the revenue cycle operations to ensure timely and accurate billing, coding, and collections.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the revenue cycle team to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and policies.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs in the revenue cycle process.
• Collaborate with clinical and financial staff to resolve billing disputes and enhance patient satisfaction.
• Monitor and analyze revenue cycle performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure adherence to coding guidelines and maintain accurate medical records.
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for services related to revenue cycle management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in revenue cycle management or a related field.
• Proven ability to manage and lead a revenue cycle team.
• Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and revenue cycle management software.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of revenue cycle processes, including claims submission, payment processing, and collections.
• Experience with revenue cycle optimization tools and technologies.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions.
