Manager Respiratory Therapy
Job Summary
The Manager, Respiratory Care provides leadership to the Respiratory Care team. The incumbent will supervise the Respiratory Care team to meet the needs of patients, physicians, and staff by ensuring excellence in all aspects of the Respiratory Department's operations. Ensures appropriate staffing and productivity levels, develops/monitors performance and productivity improvement, safety, quality and regulatory standards. Ensures excellence in customer service; assists in managing continuous improvement of processes and functions. Accountable for on-going training and professional development of staff. Accountable for adherence to state and federal rules and regulations; ensures compliance with TJC, other federal, state and local agencies. Performs clinical and related duties as required.
Qualifications
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
- Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
- PALS Pediatric Adv Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
- Associate Degree required (CRT-State)
- Certified Respiratory Therapist, or (RRT/RCP-State) Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner, or (NBRC-RRT) Registered Respiratory Therapist is required
- 1 year of experience required
