Manager Respiratory Therapy
About the Role
Reports to the COO/Administrative Director of Ops/VP Ops and is responsible for all operations and administrative functions of Respiratory. In partnership with Administration, the Manager sets objectives, strategic positioning, planning, establishes service standards, budgeting, and overall financial performance. Responsible for the integration and management of all Respiratory Departments with regard to staffing, supervision, equipment, purchasing, billing, charge collection, quality improvement activities, and staff development. Ensures Respiratory operations comply with all Joint Commission and other regulatory requirements. Establishes additional staff training, QA, and outcome measurements. Handles interviewing, hiring, employee orientation, computer training, staff competency, employee coaching, and disciplinary actions up to and including termination.
Requirements
- Graduate of a Respiratory Therapy Program (BS degree preferred)
- RRT credential required through NBRC
- BLS required upon hire
- 5 years of supervisory or management experience
- Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to make decisions independently
- Must be licensed in the state of Missouri
