Manager, Reliability Models and Studies

About the role

The Manager, Reliability Models and Studies is responsible for developing and maintaining reliability models and studies to support product development and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain reliability models and studies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with product development goals
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions based on reliability data
• Provide technical guidance and training to team members on reliability methodologies
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in reliability engineering

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Statistics, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in reliability engineering or related field
• Experience with statistical analysis software such as Minitab or JMP
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Qualifications

• Knowledge of reliability engineering principles and practices
• Experience with failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA)
• Experience with reliability growth testing and analysis
• Experience with Six Sigma or other quality improvement methodologies

Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
• Experience with project management tools such as JIRA or Asana
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex projects
