About the role
The Manager, Reliability Models and Studies is responsible for developing and maintaining reliability models and studies to support product development and manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain reliability models and studies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with product development goals
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions based on reliability data
- Provide technical guidance and training to team members on reliability methodologies
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in reliability engineering
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Statistics, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in reliability engineering or related field
- Experience with statistical analysis software such as Minitab or JMP
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Qualifications
- Knowledge of reliability engineering principles and practices
- Experience with failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA)
- Experience with reliability growth testing and analysis
- Experience with Six Sigma or other quality improvement methodologies
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Experience with project management tools such as JIRA or Asana
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex projects
