About the role

The Manager, Quality Audit Operations is accountable for the operational management and coordination of WelbeHealth’s regulatory audit and mock audit activities, as well as ensuring audit deliverables are prepared in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal standards.

Responsibilities

  • Leads enterprise-wide audit readiness efforts by coordinating regulatory and mock audits across multiple markets, helping ensure our organization is prepared for CMS, State Administering Agency (SAA), and internal reviews through standardized processes, operational excellence, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Partners with leaders across Quality, Compliance, Operations, and market teams to strengthen audit readiness, drive continuous process improvement, and translate audit findings into sustainable corrective actions that enhance regulatory performance and support exceptional care for the vulnerable seniors we serve
  • Manage the operational coordination and execution of regulatory audits including CMS, SAA, and internal mock audits
  • Aid in onsite and remote audit preparation activities with market and central teams
  • Coordinate and track audit deliverables including but not limited to universes, pre-audit documentation requests, RAIs, and other documentation submissions to ensure timely and accurate audit execution
  • Support the execution of enterprise mock audits and audit readiness assessments
  • Develop and implement standardized audit processes, tools, and workflows to support all audit activities, as well as collaborate with Compliance, Training, and Operational stakeholders to support audit readiness education
  • Maintain audit tracking systems, tools, and dashboards to monitor audit readiness, findings, remediation status, and operational progress

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field; professional experience may be substituted; master’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in quality, compliance or regulatory audits in a healthcare setting
  • Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience with demonstrated ability to mentor and develop team members; three (3) years of experience supervising programs and program development may be substituted
  • PACE experience highly desired
  • Experience with managing data and conducting analyses using productivity suite software including complex spreadsheets
  • Extensive MS office suite experience, health information management expertise, and experience with SmartSheets preferred
  • Highly motivated, inspirational leader who is able to innovatively engage, support and remove barriers to ensure the team consistently meets established goals
