About the role

As Quality Manager in Marshfield, WI, you will ensure customer requirements are met, facilitate reviews and dispositions of customer claims, and mentor teams in problem-solving tools such as RCA, Kaizen, A3, and LPA.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and lead routine quality inspections and assessments to maintain compliance, including implementing new procedures and controls; assist with external audits.
  • Support the production team in resolving daily quality issues and conduct QRB meetings to discuss quality trends/metrics and drive improvement actions.
  • Work with suppliers to address quality issues and implement actions for improvement.
  • Drive continuous improvement in waste reduction and efficiency by facilitating cross-functional discussions, analyzing trend data, and providing improvement suggestions.
  • Own quality projects, refine procedures with operating staff, and manage the document control process.
  • Monitor performance by gathering data and producing statistical reports.
  • Provide Change Management support for process and product testing and changes.
  • Manage customer relations, ensuring Sales, Marketing, and Customers understand specifications, expectations, and deliverables.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Two (2) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation, including:
    • Implementing and maintaining ISO 9001 or equivalent Quality Management System in a manufacturing environment.
    • Conducting root cause analysis using structured problem-solving tools such as 8D, Fishbone (Ishikawa), or 5-Why methodology.
    • Applying Statistical Process Control (SPC) and capability analysis (Cp, Cpk) to monitor and improve manufacturing processes.
    • Performing Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA) and managing calibration programs for inspection and test equipment.
    • Managing Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) systems, including tracking, closure, and verification of effectiveness.
    • Leading cross-functional quality audits and supplier quality assessments to ensure conformance to standards and specifications.
  • 20% national travel required.
