Manager Quality Assurance Lead / Java / BDD

About the role

This client is seeking a Manager of Quality Assurance in Engineering based in Boston, MA with a requirement of 4 days onsite. You will be joining a global investment management firm that is focused on delivering software solutions that support essential financial systems.

Responsibilities

• 40% Team leadership, offshore management, mentoring, and performance management
• 25% Test strategy, QA governance, and enterprise planning
• 25% Automated testing using Java BDD frameworks and AI tools
• 10% CI/CD integration and manual support
• 60% Management Duties
• 25% Team Collaboration

Requirements

• Proven experience in QA leadership / QA management roles
• Extensive experience managing large offshore teams
• Excellent with Java based testing frameworks
• Hands-on experience with Gherkin
• Hands-on experience with Behavior Driven Development
• Experience using AI tools in testing or automation workflows
• Strong monitoring and security skills
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Familiarity with CI/CD Pipelines
• Investment Trading Experience
