About the role
This role manages the supply chain requirements for all new product development (NPD) launches in the company. There is significant collaboration with various teams to ensure timely execution of production, inventory strategy, and product availability for all new product launches. The position also involves management of supply chain tasks in an Agile Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the New Product Launch Strategy for supply chain planning.
- Work with the finished goods planner and production team to determine inventory strategy for new launches.
- Coordinate forecast requirements with the regional team for new launches.
- Manage the process for Letter of Intent (LOI) requirements for all NPD launches.
- Balance manufacturing efficiencies with working capital investments for new product launches.
- Ensure accuracy and execution of all Agile tasks for supply chain.
- Represent supply chain in all project management meetings for NPD projects.
Team Dynamics
- Collaborate with corporate, regional, and manufacturing teams.
- Work with global business partners in all regions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 7 or more years of experience in Supply Chain, project management, or a related field.
- Experience in Project Management, Production Planning, Demand Planning, or Inventory Management.
- Certifications such as CPFR, CPIM, CSCP, APICS, or Six Sigma are a plus.
