About the role

Responsible for leading a team of 10 engineers in developing innovative solutions for complex software projects. The role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain high-quality software systems that meet project requirements and client expectations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
  • Lead and mentor a team of 10 engineers, providing guidance on best practices and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance code quality and efficiency.
  • Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends to ensure the team's work remains cutting-edge.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in software engineering or project management.
  • Proven track record of delivering successful software projects.
  • Experience leading and managing a team of engineers.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Java, Python, and C++ programming languages.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and GitLab.
  • Knowledge of database design and SQL.
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
