About the role
Responsible for leading a team of 10 engineers in developing innovative solutions for complex software projects. The role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality software systems that meet project requirements and client expectations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
- Lead and mentor a team of 10 engineers, providing guidance on best practices and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance code quality and efficiency.
- Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends to ensure the team's work remains cutting-edge.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in software engineering or project management.
- Proven track record of delivering successful software projects.
- Experience leading and managing a team of engineers.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Java, Python, and C++ programming languages.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and GitLab.
- Knowledge of database design and SQL.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
