Position Summary
The person in this position ensures that assigned projects are completed on time and within budget, and the resultant products meet specifications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develops detailed development schedules for assigned projects
- Responsible for the effective internal and external communication of information related to project
- Procures required resources from resource managers
- Conducts status meetings
- Tracks, monitors and reports project progress
- Maintains, controls and distributes product specifications
- Public Gaming specific tasks assigned by director, focus specializes in leading a team, typically cross-functional teams, to achieve project goals and requirements
- Work with project teams and stakeholders to plan, execute, monitor, and control the project
- Manage resources, budget, cost, time, quality, risks and other constraints
- Performs non-technical project completion using an internal customer perspective, typically from initiation through delivery
- Cook up cross-functional teams through meetings and progress measurement activity which bring distinct, specific projects to completion both on time and within budget
- This role has project management responsibility and no direct reports
- This job manages specific projects that have a distinct beginning and end. Requires people and resource management through others; part of cross-functional team required to complete the project.
Qualifications
- Training and/or Experience: A minimum of two years engineering, operations, product or project management experience
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret rules and regulations
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from internal or external personnel
- Excellent oral and written interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage issues requiring problem resolution and conflict management
- Knowledge of project management tools and processes
- Knowledge and understanding of project budgeting
- Ability to motivate employees
Education
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required
