Manager – Project Coordination & Field Operations

Position Summary

The person in this position ensures that assigned projects are completed on time and within budget, and the resultant products meet specifications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Develops detailed development schedules for assigned projects
• Responsible for the effective internal and external communication of information related to project
• Procures required resources from resource managers
• Conducts status meetings
• Tracks, monitors and reports project progress
• Maintains, controls and distributes product specifications
• Public Gaming specific tasks assigned by director, focus specializes in leading a team, typically cross-functional teams, to achieve project goals and requirements
• Work with project teams and stakeholders to plan, execute, monitor, and control the project
• Manage resources, budget, cost, time, quality, risks and other constraints
• Performs non-technical project completion using an internal customer perspective, typically from initiation through delivery
• Cook up cross-functional teams through meetings and progress measurement activity which bring distinct, specific projects to completion both on time and within budget
• This role has project management responsibility and no direct reports
• This job manages specific projects that have a distinct beginning and end. Requires people and resource management through others; part of cross-functional team required to complete the project.

Qualifications

• Training and/or Experience: A minimum of two years engineering, operations, product or project management experience
• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret rules and regulations
• Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from internal or external personnel
• Excellent oral and written interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage issues requiring problem resolution and conflict management
• Knowledge of project management tools and processes
• Knowledge and understanding of project budgeting
• Ability to motivate employees

Education

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required
