About the team
Enterprise AI/ML is powering real-time, intelligent banking by introducing new AI/ML capabilities and safely scaling business-led innovations. This horizontal platform team builds intelligence capabilities, spanning distributed compute technologies, control plane operations, and cost management, directly engaging with users of Capital One’s largest AI & ML platforms to understand and solve complex technical and operational challenges. We drive transformative solutions in partnership with engineering, risk, security, and business teams to ensure that rigorous governance, security, resiliency, and availability requirements are met.
We are seeking a Technical Product Leader with a proven history of building exceptional products and experiences for technical users like data scientists, ML engineers, and software developers, who is capable of bringing a fresh, innovative perspective to influence and shape the platforms and tools that thousands of engineers use every day to deliver intelligent, personalized customer experiences.

Responsibilities
- Build intelligence capabilities spanning distributed compute technologies, control plane operations, and cost management
- Engage directly with users of Capital One’s largest AI & ML platforms to understand and solve complex technical and operational challenges
- Partner with engineering, risk, security, and business teams to ensure rigorous governance, security, resiliency, and availability requirements are met
- Influence and shape platforms and tools used daily by thousands of engineers to deliver intelligent, personalized customer experiences
Basic qualifications
- Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field), Business or Marketing
- OR Bachelor’s degree in any field and at least 3 years of Product Management experience
Preferred qualifications
- Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer-facing digital products
- Experience exploring, prototyping, or implementing emerging technologies and AI automation tools (such as Gemini, Claude, Claude Code, or Google Apps Script)
- Previous experience in an AI/ML product role

- Sr. Mgr, Product Management: $182,500 – $208,300

- Manager, Product Management: $164,800 – $188,100
- Sr. Mgr, Product Management: $200,700 – $229,100
- New York, NY
- Manager, Product Management: $179,700 – $205,100
- Sr. Mgr, Product Management: $219,000 – $249,900
- Richmond, VA
- Manager, Product Management: $149,800 – $171,000
- Sr. Mgr, Product Management: $182,500 – $208,300
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long-term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non-discretionary depending on the plan.
