Manager, Product Design

The Manager of Product Design will lead Partner Experiences in the Global Payment Network, enabling partners’ success through easy access to payment technology, fraud monitoring, and compliance platforms.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a high degree of skill in product design, leveraging interaction, visual, and service design; create journey maps, blueprints, high‑fidelity designs, and prototypes.
• Lead design projects, direct and delegate work for junior team members, build strong partnerships with cross‑functional stakeholders, and mentor to mature the product design practice.
• Navigate partner and stakeholder needs, using data, research insights, scalability, and technical constraints to focus on customer‑centered and inclusive solutions.
• Apply business knowledge and market insights to shape product strategy and communicate a shared point of view.
• Use understanding of technology, data capabilities, and emerging tech to inform work and help cross‑functional teams move faster.
• Leverage a network of partnerships across lines of business to foster collaboration, share solutions, and drive product strategy.
• Present work across levels and functions using a human‑centered approach that integrates design frameworks, data, and research to influence senior decision‑making.

Basic Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in a Product Design role.
• At least 5 years of experience with design and prototyping tools such as Figma.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 6 years of experience in a Product Design role.
• At least 6 years of experience with design and prototyping tools such as Figma.
• Experience working with and contributing to an established design system.
• Experience collaborating with product, tech, and business partners.
• Experience leading design projects or teams.
• Experience working in heavily regulated, data‑heavy problem spaces.

Compensation

Minimum and maximum full‑time annual salaries by location:

• McLean, VA: $164,800 – $188,100 for Manager, Design
• Richmond, VA: $149,800 – $171,000 for Manager, Design
• New York, NY: $179,700 – $205,100 for Manager, Design
• Other locations: salary range will correspond to the local pay range for this role.

This role is also eligible for performance‑based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonuses and/or long‑term incentives (LTI). Incentives may be discretionary or non‑discretionary depending on the plan.
