Manager, Procurement & Vendor Management

Overview

THE ROLE: The Manager of Procurement and Vendor Management reports to the Sr. Manager, Indirect Sourcing and is responsible for leading vendor management and operational support within the technology category. This role oversees vendor performance governance, contract and policy compliance, and vendor analytics to ensure suppliers meet business, financial, and service expectations.

Responsibilities

• Define and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Review vendor performance in real-time.
• Develop dashboards and scorecards.
• Manage vendor data accuracy and reporting.
• Support sourcing initiatives by resolving complex vendor issues, enabling savings and cost avoidance, and improving stakeholder satisfaction.
• Owning vendor data governance and processes.
• Leverage technology to centralize and automate vendor information.
• Conduct market scans for innovative solutions.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors to drive continuous improvement and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or other related field with 7+ years of professional work experience, including a minimum of 6-8+ years of direct vendor management experience.
• Experience in the technology space, including license management, cloud infrastructure and systems.
• Team leadership and focus, ability to develop positive relationships with team members and stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle multiple vendor relationships and projects simultaneously.
• Excellent technical, verbal and written communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience using data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Experience in data management, product management, or vendor management.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Highly motivated self-starter and problem-solving passion that requires minimal guidance.
