Manager, Procurement & Strategic Sourcing

About the role

The Manager, Procurement & Strategic Sourcing oversees the procurement process and strategic sourcing initiatives to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality of goods and services. This role works closely with suppliers, vendors, and other departments to negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and manage supplier contracts to ensure cost savings and quality standards are met.
• Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies to optimize procurement processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks in procurement activities.
• Monitor supplier performance and provide regular reports to senior management.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in procurement and sourcing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement or strategic sourcing roles.
• Proven track record of successful negotiation and contract management.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to analyze data to make informed decisions.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience with procurement software and tools is a plus.
