Manager, Process Management, Emerging Technologies Enablement (Hybrid)
About the role
The Emerging Technologies Enablement (ETE) team provides an enterprise data-annotation capability to support Capital One’s evolving AI capabilities. As a Manager within ETE, you will lead a team of ETE Leads (process managers) in delivering flawlessly executed processes that improve business efficiency and drive results. You and your team will guide use cases through the entire annotation project lifecycle—intake, readiness, monitoring, and delivery—for ETE partners. You will develop and drive improvements throughout the delivery process, monitor data trends to measure effectiveness, and establish benchmarks or thresholds to ensure data integrity and high-quality results. Additionally, you will educate and gain buy-in from key stakeholders to ensure appropriate execution.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of ETE Leads in executing processes that enhance business efficiency and deliver results.
- Guide annotation projects through the full lifecycle: intake, readiness, monitoring, and delivery.
- Develop and implement process improvements aligned with customer outcomes.
- Monitor data trends to measure effectiveness and establish benchmarks for data integrity and quality.
- Analyze and correct data issues within systems owned or used by the department.
- Provide subject-matter expertise on processes in projects and meetings.
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and excellence within the team.
- Mentor and support team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
- Champion best practices in content strategy, project management, knowledge sharing, and inter-team collaboration.
- Create and validate processes, and design metrics to measure efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or military experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in process management.
- At least 2 years of experience in project management.
- At least 2 years of experience in people management.
- At least 2 years of experience in relationship management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree.
- Lean certification or Six Sigma certification.
- At least 5 years of experience in process management.
- At least 5 years of experience in project management.
- At least 5 years of experience in people management.
- At least 5 years of experience in complex problem solving.
- At least 5 years of experience in relationship management.

Schedule
This role is hybrid, requiring 3 days per week in the office and the remainder of the week working virtually.
Pay
The annual full-time salary ranges for this role are as follows (part-time salaries will be prorated based on agreed-upon hours):
- Richmond, VA: $122,100 - $139,400 for Manager, Process Management.
- Plano, TX: $122,100 - $139,400 for Manager, Process Management.
Candidates hired in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with their location. This role is also eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives (LTI).
