Manager, Process Assurance

For our client, we are seeking a Manager, Process Assurance to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will oversee a team focused on strengthening process discipline, internal controls, and compliance readiness across the business. The manager will partner closely with business, IT, audit, and compliance stakeholders to evaluate risks, improve control activities, and support an environment of accountability and continuous improvement. This position also plays an important leadership role in developing team members, building future leaders, and helping the organization navigate change effectively. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $103,800 – $173,300 annually Responsibilities Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing process assurance team of 6–10 members Attract and nurture future leaders within the function Set clear performance expectations and provide continuous feedback and coaching Empower team members to work independently and efficiently Coordinate the development and implementation of business control activities Analyze processes to recommend improvements and evaluate control deficiencies Facilitate internal and external audits to ensure compliance with regulatory standards Qualifications BA in Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, Compliance, or a related field, or 5+ years of equivalent experience Minimum 5 years in risk management, process management, or internal controls, including 2 years in a leadership role Experience navigating and leading through ambiguity and change Proven cross-functional collaboration with business, IT, audit, and compliance teams Benefits Hybrid work model offering flexibility Opportunities for professional development and career growth Support for team innovation and process improvement initiatives Collaborative and inclusive team culture Exposure to cross-functional leadership roles and responsibilities Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
