Responsibilities

• Review tax returns, income tax projections, and tax workpapers, specifically federal and state individual and fiduciary tax returns.
• Possess strong technical skills in individual and fiduciary income tax, with working knowledge in partnerships and S‑corporations.
• Provide effective consulting, planning, and compliance for clients.
• Oversee and manage the day‑to‑day needs of clients and the tax return process, including identification and resolution of tax issues.
• Perform tax research to resolve issues.
• Maintain strong relationships with a highly proactive approach to serving clients.
• Coordinate with partners and staff to ensure timeliness and effective communication for proper project planning.
• Coach, mentor, and assist staff so they can develop and contribute to the growth of the tax practice.
• Maintain knowledge of new tax issues and general business trends impacting clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; Master’s in Taxation preferred.
• CPA designation preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive public accounting experience.
• Knowledge of hedge fund and private equity K‑1s.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Capable of managing multiple client engagements.
• Track record of building and sustaining client relationships and delivering high‑quality client service.
• Outstanding analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
