Manager – Plant Performance and Operational Excellence
About the role
We are seeking a Senior Manager with extensive experience in plant operations and lean excellence to join our team at Atmus Filtration Technologies. This role will support the plant manager in ensuring the plant performs well in areas such as safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
Responsibilities
- Support the plant manager in maintaining plant performance in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
- Be well versed in manufacturing operations including operations, maintenance, planning, and supply chain, warehousing, Lean, and cost management.
- Drive change and lead with strong business acumen.
- Support and provide manufacturing leadership for a small/medium size plant in Cookeville, TN.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to drive results, create and monitor measures, validate root cause analysis, and implement corrective action plans.
- Leverage data analytics and digital tools to support decision-making.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to meet customer and business requirements.
- Collaborate with global teams to share best practices and standardize lean and operational excellence frameworks.
- Prepare and manage an annual operating plan, forecasts for manufacturing operations and maintenance.
- Develop and implement strategies for Operations, including automation, digital transformation, and customer centricity.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement by embedding Lean principles and fostering employee engagement.
- Manage projects in a cross-functional environment, leading and influencing without authority in matrixed and dotted line teams.
- Coach site leaders, engineers, and other operations resources to identify and implement improvement initiatives.
- Mentor and develop high-potential talent and build a strong leadership pipeline.
- Identify and champion cost reduction projects and manage them through the process.
Requirements
- Managerial experience of 10+ years.
- Strong business acumen and solid communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- Significant relevant experience, including experience leading strategic and change efforts within a function or business.
- Filtration experience is preferred but not required.

- College, university, or bachelor's degree or higher, required.

Benefits
At Atmus, we offer a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $135,150 to $166,000 per year, based on relevant factors such as qualifications and experience. Other benefits may include health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.

The base salary range for this position is $135,150 to $166,000 per year. Final salary offers will be determined based on relevant factors, including qualifications and experience.
Schedule
The position is located in Cookeville, TN, and requires less than 10% travel. Relocation assistance may be provided to eligible candidates who currently reside within the United States. Sponsorship for employment visa status is not currently available.
