Manager, Physical Therapy

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and enforce written policies and procedures for all processes in the physical therapy department
• Develop short- and long-term work plans and objectives for all rehabilitation services
• Collaborate with physicians and administration to achieve departmental service goals
• Oversee purchasing and supply management for the clinic
• Ensure employee and patient rights are upheld
• Utilize all aspects of the clinic’s software system effectively
• Assist with selection, training, orientation, and supervision of personnel
• Lead by example and adhere to AEIOU behavioral standards and management expectations
• Manage day-to-day staffing requirements and conduct scheduled team/clinic meetings
• Conduct performance management reviews in a timely manner
• Actively participate in patient assessment and treatment as a Physical Therapist
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Education: Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy required
• Licenses & Certifications: Current state PT license required, PT certification required, CPR certification required
• Experience: Minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in physical therapy, minimum of two years of supervisory experience preferred
• Knowledge: Understanding of business and supervisory concepts, including total quality management (TQM), experience in patient assessment and treatment, experience managing budgeting, staffing, scheduling, and quality audits
• Skills: Strong communication skills and ability to establish effective relationships with patients, staff, and administrators, proven ability to operate a cost-effective department and control costs appropriately, demonstrated professionalism, reliability, and strong work ethic
