Manager - Pharmacy Operations - Philhaven - Full-Time - Day

Responsibilities

• Ensures delivery of quality pharmacy services for all patients.
• Safeguards the pharmacy inventory with essential drugs and pharmaceuticals, and oversees all related purchasing and receiving duties.
• Develops and maintains departmental technology.
• Collaborates in conducting regular inspections of all medication centers.
• Serves as RASMAS Pharmacy Coordinator for product recall system.
• Develops the pharmacy budget and monitors its financial performance.

Requirements

• Recommends staffing levels, selects and assigns staff, evaluates performance, evaluates/testing competencies (as applicable), provides orientation, training and continuing education of staff, and initiates or makes recommendations for personnel actions.
• Coordinates and integrates services within the department/service line/entity, with other departments/service lines/entities, and with the System's primary functions.
• Participates in the selection of outside services (if needed).
• Continuously assesses and improves the department/service line/entity/System's performance.
• Maintains appropriate quality control/assessment programs (if applicable).
• Assists with completing monthly statistics and financial documentation.
• Aids in departmental planning.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy, Doctorate Pharm.D. Preferred.
• Work Experience: 3 years Relevant experience. Required and Supervisory experience. Required.
• Licenses: Licensed Registered Pharmacist Upon Hire Required.
• Courses and Training: Completion of 5 or 6 year program from accredited school of pharmacy. Upon Hire Required.
