Manager, Pharmacovigilance Business Operations and Vendor Strategy

For our client, a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space, we are seeking a Manager of Pharmacovigilance Business Operations and Vendor Strategy. This role will lead operational priorities where safety, quality, compliance, and execution discipline are central to success. You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a life sciences environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Lead the outsourcing strategy for global pharmacovigilance operations
• Negotiate contracts with service providers to protect DSPV's interests
• Manage competitive sourcing activities and define evaluation criteria
• Monitor partner performance against financial and operational metrics
• Develop and manage the DSPV operating budget, including forecasting and variance analysis

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Life Sciences, Public Health, or related field
• 5+ years in business operations, outsourcing, financial management, or project management in the pharmaceutical industry
• Direct experience in pharmacovigilance operations or drug safety
• Proven negotiation skills with outsourcing agreements and service providers
• Strong financial acumen including budget ownership and cost analysis

Pay

$133,000 – $173,000 annually
