About the Role
As a Business Partner on the U.S. People & Culture (P&C) team, you will help deliver PMI's people agenda and support the development of a high-performing manufacturing organization in Wilson, NC. As a member of the factory leadership team, you will partner with leaders and employees on workforce planning, talent development, employee engagement, organizational effectiveness, and change management. Working closely with P&C colleagues across manufacturing sites and corporate functions, you will provide practical HR support in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Your Day-to-Day
- Support execution of U.S. P&C initiatives aligned with business priorities.
- Partner with leaders on organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, capability building, and talent pipeline needs.
- Support succession planning and workforce insights.
- Serve as a trusted P&C partner to leaders, managers, and employees.
- Coach managers on engagement, culture, team effectiveness, and leadership practices.
- Support change management initiatives that improve agility and performance.
- Coordinate engagement and employee listening initiatives.
- Support learning and development programs.
- Guide leaders on talent and performance practices.
- Advise employees on career development and growth opportunities.
- Support compliance with employment laws and company policies.
- Assist with employee relations matters and escalate complex issues as needed.
- Partner with HR Centers of Excellence, including Talent, Total Rewards, and Employee Relations.
- Maintain people data, prepare reports, and identify process improvements.
Who We're Looking For
- 8+ years of progressive HR experience.
- 5+ years in an HR Business Partner or HR leadership role within manufacturing; consumer goods experience preferred.
- Lean Manufacturing expertise (organizational pillar) is a strong advantage.
- Experience in large, matrixed and/or global organizations.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and coaching skills.
- Experience with workforce planning, organizational effectiveness and talent development.
- Employee relations experience with sound judgment on escalation.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams.
Pay
Annual Base Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000
