Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with senior leaders and participate in Area Manager and Restaurant General Manager (RGM) meetings.
  • Manage investigations and partner with legal counsel to resolve complex employee relations issues while ensuring regulatory compliance (e.g., background checks and I-9 processes).
  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance, including coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary actions.
  • Partner with training teams to implement HR change initiatives and continuous improvement projects, delivering updates and training for restaurant management and team members.
  • Provide guidance on HR policies, business unit restructuring, and succession planning.
  • Evaluate and monitor training programs to ensure they meet objectives, following up with teams to measure success.
  • Collaborate with HR leaders to enhance key programs and participate in cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives.
  • Organize and lead hiring events across various outlets to attract and recruit restaurant talent.
  • Support restaurant teams with Applicant Tracking System (ATS) usage and assist with New Hire Orientations to strengthen the talent pipeline.
  • Validate employee achievement and bonus payout calculations on a quarterly and monthly basis.
  • Prepare communications regarding compensation, benefits, and HR policies.
  • Travel domestically up to 50% to support various restaurant teams.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of HR experience, with a strong background in employee relations and organizational development.
  • Knowledge of HR fundamentals, including employee relations, performance management policies, diversity initiatives, and federal and state employment laws.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships, influence teams, and address sensitive HR issues with integrity.
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong communication, team-building, and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to analyze problems, propose solutions, and implement recommendations effectively.
  • Willingness to travel domestically up to 50%.
  • Quick Service Industry experience preferred but not required.
