About the role
Nutrien Ag Solutions is seeking a Manager of Distribution Operations to lead and manage the overall operations of a location, including warehousing, logistics, and inventory. This position oversees field activities, equipment scheduling, and maintenance, and leads a high-performing team to meet goals.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for overall operations of location (warehousing, logistics, inventory)
- Plan, direct, and manage multi-shift distribution
- Oversee field activities, equipment scheduling, and maintenance
- Develop and implement opportunities for process improvement, cost savings, leverage of technology, and improved service within the distribution
- Lead and develop a high-performing team to meet goals and work with a cross-functional mindset
- Provide customer service for internal and external customers
- Ensure that a safe working environment is maintained at all times by enforcing Company standards and following up on regular safety inspections
Requirements
Minimum of 5+ years of relevant management experience in vocational agricultural or a combination in supervisory, education, and work experience. An agricultural-based degree is desired. Willingness to travel to include market areas in other states. Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word/Excel).
