For our client, a leader in the Hospitality & Recreation space, we are seeking a Manager of Technical Accounting & Reporting to join their team. This role supports financial strategy, forecasting, and performance management initiatives that strengthen business visibility and decision-making. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within a hospitality and recreation environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead accounting policy evolution and ensure compliance with new accounting standards
- Drive technical excellence by partnering with the accounting team and cross-functional leaders
- Design and oversee internal controls framework focused on SOX effectiveness
- Author original financial narratives and public communications
- Respond to complex accounting inquiries for internal and external stakeholders
- Lead monthly close processes and publish investor reporting packages
- Provide technical guidance on new initiatives and collaborate with external auditors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
- US CPA (highly preferred)
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Big 4 audit/advisory experience (preferred)
- Deep expertise in revenue recognition, stock-based compensation, or business combinations and goodwill accounting
- Capital markets experience (preferred)
- Technology/SaaS industry background (preferred but not required)

Pay
$140,000 – $155,000 annually
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
