For our client, a leader in the Hospitality & Recreation space, we are seeking a Manager of Technical Accounting & Reporting to join their team. This role supports financial strategy, forecasting, and performance management initiatives that strengthen business visibility and decision-making. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within a hospitality and recreation environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead accounting policy evolution and ensure compliance with new accounting standards
  • Drive technical excellence by partnering with the accounting team and cross-functional leaders
  • Design and oversee internal controls framework focused on SOX effectiveness
  • Author original financial narratives and public communications
  • Respond to complex accounting inquiries for internal and external stakeholders
  • Lead monthly close processes and publish investor reporting packages
  • Provide technical guidance on new initiatives and collaborate with external auditors

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
  • US CPA (highly preferred)
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Big 4 audit/advisory experience (preferred)
  • Deep expertise in revenue recognition, stock-based compensation, or business combinations and goodwill accounting
  • Capital markets experience (preferred)
  • Technology/SaaS industry background (preferred but not required)

Pay

$140,000 – $155,000 annually

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
