About the role

Develop, implement and evaluate practices and policies.

Collect and analyze data to identify potential or actual sources of risk to patients, associates, and their environment.

Collaborate with staff, medical staff, leadership, quality and other committee members with respect to risk-related incidents, policies and practices.

Develop or facilitate safety, risk and quality care initiatives.

Manage activities related to staffing, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives.

Requirements

  • High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.

Preferences

  • 3 years Risk Management experience preferred.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.

Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
