About the role
Provide effective leadership and empower all project management resources within your region, focusing on HSSE and Quality to ensure project execution and on-time delivery excellence across all projects.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all projects are executed according to project performance goals and in alignment with Proserv processes and procedures detailed within the GBMS, using standard operating tools.
- Ensure projects implement and meet all set KPIs; review monthly and support projects to achieve continual alignment.
- Empower project management resources to identify continuous improvement ideas for processes, procedures, tools, and standard working practices; report these to the PMO Director and support global implementation where appropriate.
- Ensure Category 2 and 3 projects implement comprehensive Risk and Change Management systems.
- Monitor and report on Project Management utilization; plan for personnel support where demands require it.
- Identify Project Management team recruitment needs to meet demand and report to PMO.
- Work closely with line management across departments (Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Aftermarket, Sales, and Senior Management) to support and complete assigned projects on time and within budget.
- Schedule and coordinate personnel; ensure employees arrive on time and complete duties in accordance with project and site requirements, including safety.
- Maintain manpower requirements for projects; communicate resource needs to department managers and support prioritization with the General Manager to align with business objectives.
- Maintain ongoing contact with project Account Executive(s) to provide feedback on project workflow details, including significant dates, special needs, product updates, feasible improvements, and issues requiring resolution.
- Ensure project requirements, timelines, and budgets are set prior to project start; use change management controls as needed.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Travel up to 40% domestically and internationally to support Projects and the Subsea Business Unit.
Requirements
- 10 years of experience in Engineering project management, business management, or a related project management role within the energy industry. Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be accepted.
Skills
- 5 years of experience delivering High Integrity Pressure Protection Systems (HIPPS) Subsea projects in various environments, including logical solvers, pressure sensors, actuated valves, and overall safety loop design, engineering design, system qualification, FAT/SIT testing, and commercialization of subsea control technologies for major operators (e.g., Beacon, Shell, Trendsetter, and/or Woodside).
- 5 years of experience managing Subsea and Topside Control System projects across product lines such as distributed control systems, communications modules, and hydraulic/electronic control assemblies.
- 5 years of experience with Augmented Controls Technology (ACT) and advanced diagnostic capabilities aligned with controls optimization and system insight.
- 5 years of experience applying hardware design and reliability standards relevant to subsea control solutions, including testing methodologies, reliability engineering, system constraints, availability targets, and detailed technical specifications.
- 3 years of experience with Control & Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS), covering both hardware and software integration.
- 3 years of experience with industry standards such as API RP 14C, ISO 10418, or other relevant Topside and Subsea standards/specifications.
- 3 years of experience with IEC/SIL compliance level 3 subsea electronics modules (SEM) for integration and controls systems.
Location: Houston, TX. Full-time, 40 hours per week.
