What You’ll Do
- Affords assistance in the operation of multiple physician clinics and their associated staff.
- Maintains oversight of departmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with health system standards.
- Promotes job satisfaction, enrichment, and achievement among medical providers and clinic staff.
- Fosters effective communication and interdepartmental relationships.
- Aids in the preparation and management of physician clinic start-ups, moves, and closures.
- Audit of monthly clinic business operations to assess the accuracy of the billing process, accounts receivable, medical coding systems, and regulatory guidelines.
- Maintains the timeliness, completeness, and accuracy of medical records in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
- Facilitates communication and daily interactions with Office Coordinators on operational matters, policies, and issues.
- Trains all staffed positions in physician clinics.
- Post-secondary education in medical records, physicians' billing, documentation, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
