Manager of Product Management - Imaging Solutions

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Manager of Product Management - Imaging Solutions to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will guide a product management team responsible for shaping strategy, execution, and lifecycle decisions across a technical imaging portfolio. The position partners closely with commercial, R&D, and cross-functional stakeholders to strengthen market positioning, improve portfolio performance, and support long-term growth. It is an opportunity to blend leadership, market insight, and product discipline in a highly specialized life sciences environment. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of product managers and product owners to drive effective execution
• Manage the full product lifecycle, including new product introduction and phase-out
• Improve the performance of existing product lines, with a focus on profitability and margins
• Define and execute product strategy and long-term portfolio vision
• Analyze market trends to identify opportunities for product improvement
• Collaborate with stakeholders to refine and prioritize product requirements
• Conduct competitive analysis and build business cases for product development

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant life science or bioengineering field; MBA or PhD preferred
• 10+ years of product management or commercial experience in life science tools or related sectors
• 7+ years of people management experience
• 5+ years of hands-on microscopy and image analysis experience
• Proven experience developing product strategies and roadmaps for life science imaging portfolios
• Familiarity with stage-gate and agile product development methodologies
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence senior leadership

Pay

$150,000 – $193,000 annually
