Responsibilities
- Provide commercial project management support for complex commercial sales.
- Become a recognized expert at Carrier Enterprise products, applications, and selections.
- Host job turnover meetings with all personnel involved in closing a sale.
- Establish project delivery, financial and technical requirements.
- Complete all financial paperwork to establish the project and prepare for order.
- Generate submittals and work to obtain approval.
- Actively manage risks, collaborate with vendors, and optimize project financial results.
- Maintain structured communication and project management process.
- Maintain project accounting in compliance with company operating guidelines.
- Develop a partnership with the internal product support teams to continually improve internal process.
- Maintain a log of all projects and provide management reports on set intervals.
- Work with the Applied Order Management team to release orders.
- Manage vendor orders and subcontracts as required.
- Communicate with the customer on all aspects of the project.
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years experience in a Sales support role.
- HVAC technical sales or operations experience.
- A solid understanding of HVAC principles.
- Proficient with a PC and Microsoft Office applications.
Skills
- Highly organized self-starter.
- Ability to master complex technical data quickly.
- Good written communication skills.
- Able to follow procedure while in a time demanding environment.
