Manager of Order Management

Responsibilities

• Provide commercial project management support for complex commercial sales.
• Become a recognized expert at Carrier Enterprise products, applications, and selections.
• Host job turnover meetings with all personnel involved in closing a sale.
• Establish project delivery, financial and technical requirements.
• Complete all financial paperwork to establish the project and prepare for order.
• Generate submittals and work to obtain approval.
• Actively manage risks, collaborate with vendors, and optimize project financial results.
• Maintain structured communication and project management process.
• Maintain project accounting in compliance with company operating guidelines.
• Develop a partnership with the internal product support teams to continually improve internal process.
• Maintain a log of all projects and provide management reports on set intervals.
• Work with the Applied Order Management team to release orders.
• Manage vendor orders and subcontracts as required.
• Communicate with the customer on all aspects of the project.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years experience in a Sales support role.
• HVAC technical sales or operations experience.
• A solid understanding of HVAC principles.
• Proficient with a PC and Microsoft Office applications.

• Highly organized self-starter.
• Ability to master complex technical data quickly.
• Good written communication skills.
• Able to follow procedure while in a time demanding environment.
