Job Summary and Qualifications

• You will ensure high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall daily function and staffing of the unit/department.
• You will monitor and evaluate the provision of nursing care in accordance with established policies/ procedures and hold staff accountable for quality and clinical outcomes in support of facility objectives.
• You will support the achievement of internal/ external benchmarks, accreditations, and designations.
• You will provide leadership in attaining and sustaining an unparalleled patient experience, and instill accountability for providing consistent, positive patient interactions that differentiate the organization as a healthcare leader.
• You will lead in a way that inspires commitment to the vision/ mission/ values of the organization, and implement evidence-based employee engagement practices.
• You will manage operating expenses, including the utilization of supplies and equipment, identify cost reduction opportunities, and implements actions to achieve savings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Preferred (enrollment within 12 months and completion within 3 years required)
• Master's Degree in Nursing Preferred
• 2+ years experience in healthcare
• 1+ years experience in a leadership role
• Current license as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI)
• Nationally recognized certification - Within 12 Months - New hires/ transfers must obtain within specified time frame. Required to work under credentialed RN until training certification obtained
• STABLE certification
