Manager of Materials Management
Job Summary
As our Materials Management Manager, you will lead the Materials Management team to ensure the efficient and cost-effective flow of medical supplies and equipment. You will manage and mentor the Materials Tech team, overseeing inventory control, workflow optimization, and supplier relationships.
Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor the Materials Tech team, ensuring adherence to procedures for disinfection, receiving, storing, issuing, and delivering supplies.
- Oversee inventory control, troubleshoot issues, and optimize workflows to meet supply needs for patient care.
- Collaborate with staff to address supply needs and maintain inventory integrity.
- Support clinical departments and uphold sanitation standards.
- Manage the warehouse, receiving, par management, inventory management, mailroom, and print shop.
- Coordinate product conversions with clinical leadership and other stakeholders, ensuring product master files are updated.
- Negotiate local contracts with suppliers to ensure best pricing, delivery, and related terms and conditions.
Requirements
- Required: Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Materials Management or Accounts Payable within a healthcare organization
- Three (3) years of experience in invoice resolution, working with requisitioners, vendors, and Accounts Payable

Pay Range
$41.14 - $61.20 /hour
