Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis

Duties/Responsibilities

• Partner with department leaders to analyze, model, and evaluate business decisions and opportunities.
• Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support operational and strategic initiatives.
• Provide recommendations based on financial and operational data.
• Develop and maintain financial, operational, and KPI reporting.
• Analyze trends, identify opportunities and risks, and communicate key findings to leadership.
• Prepare recurring and ad hoc financial reports to support decision-making.
• Partner with Accounting, Finance, and business leaders to develop annual budgets and forecasts.
• Aid with operational, capital, and cash flow planning.
• Maintain budget performance and provide variance analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field required.
• MBA or equivalent degree in an analytical field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in FP&A, Finance, or a related analytical role.
• Retail, fuel, convenience store, transportation, or multi-location business experience preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial reporting tools required.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and communicate recommendations.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with several priorities while being flexible to shift priorities.
• Demonstrated success in linking corporate strategy to the development of leadership strategies and programs.
• Able to contribute and direct innovation and troubleshooting for other related departments for cross coordination of large projects and complex business impacting service issues.
